Description
Soft pink with deep chestnut speckles, nodding turban flowers with swept-back petals. June to August a gentle beauty. Twenty to fifty flowers per stem.
Pink Morning is a Martagon lily, also called turban lily. Unique for lilies: it appreciates half-shade and is ideal for woodland gardens. Extremely hardy to zone 3. Plant in groups of three to five. Soil type doesn't matter, as long as it drains well. Lightly scented. Deer and rabbits leave it alone. After a few years it forms a permanent plant that blooms fuller than ever.
