Description
Silver lilac with darker lilac stripes, also known as King of Stripe. Pickwick is the character crocus. Named after Mr. Samuel Pickwick from Dickens' book, a classic.
This is a large-flowered crocus (Crocus vernus), strong and popular. The silver lilac flowers with darker stripes close in rain and in the evening. That is a protective mechanism. Suitable for borders, lawn, pots. Naturalizes well, although multiplication is somewhat slower. One of the most popular large-flowered crocuses. Leave the leaf alone after flowering; mow only six weeks later. Fragrant. Beautiful in groups, where the striping really comes into its own.
