Size and height
Grows to about 100 - 120 cm tall. A large globe of 15 to 20 cm in lilac purple on one of the tallest stems.
Giant globes of more than 20 centimetres across filled with rosy-purple stars. This is Globemaster's brave brother, equally impressive but cheaper and blooming just as long. May to July, stems to 1.2 metres.
Gladiator is a cross between two other alliums, designed to improve Giganteum. Wholly successful. Those rosy-purple stars within such a large globe stand out. Add a markedly long flowering season: this is a champion. Not quite as large a flower as some other giants, but flowering far longer. That's the victory. Sweetly scented, suitable as both a cut and dried flower. Place it at the back of the border where it has room and won't topple.
The Champion. Long and full flowering in one plant.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

Unusual: this allium smells sweet and honey-like instead of oniony.

Full of nectar and pollen, so bees and butterflies find your garden effortlessly.
Cut a few stems and bring the garden indoors for your own bouquet on the table.
Once planted it spreads on its own and comes back stronger year after year.
Grows well above the rest and gives the border instant height and a firm accent.
Deer and roe deer usually leave these flowers alone, so your work stays standing.

You can have flowers without a garden. A few pots are enough.

Plant in autumn and enjoy a sea of colour in spring.

Plant once, get more flowers every spring.

With the right bulbs you give bees and butterflies their first food.

Cut a bunch whenever you like. Grown by you, and it shows.

That tricky spot under the tree? There are bulbs for that.

Give flowers that come back every year, not a bunch that wilts.
