Description
Double Surprise earns its name in the unfurling, each bloom opens deep magenta pink at the outer petals and softens to bright white through layer upon layer toward the heart, so no two flowers look quite alike. Full and peony like in April to June, it brings an effortless abundance to borders and bouquets. In a vase, a single stem holds its own against an entire bouquet. Every bulb is hand selected from Blom's growers, chosen for size, firmness and the promise of the bloom to come.

Rule of thumb: plant a bulb two to three times as deep as the bulb is tall. The exact depth and spacing for this variety are on the planting card attached to the bag and in the planting guide we send along.
Fully grown, this tulip reaches about 40-50 cm. Useful to know for the order in your border: low at the front, tall at the back.
