Description
Purple fluffy, ragged flower plumes instead of normal clusters. May to June a true eye-catcher. Completely different from all other grape hyacinths.
This is the feather grape hyacinth, a variation on the ordinary one. Same robust traits: hardy, naturalizing, bee-friendly. Plant in full sun to half-shade, well-draining soil. The ragged form creates a very different effect from ordinary grape hyacinths. Group for impact. Fuller year after year.
