Description

Bright orange Asiatic lily with vivid flowers. June to August bright colour in border or garden. Upright growth, 60 to 100cm, easy and rewarding.

This is an Asiatic hybrid, the earliest-blooming lily and easiest to grow. Not fragrant, but bright orange, so certainly striking. Plant in full sun to half-shade. Well-draining soil preferred: not too wet in winter. Fine cut flower. Bees love them. Winter-hardy. Plant in groups of three to five for best effect. Protect from deer, as they love it.

The Striking. Bright orange without a hint of doubt, brighter every day.

The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.

We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

Questions about this lily.

Plant this lily in Jan, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec. As long as the ground is not frozen, there is still time.
Rule of thumb: plant a bulb two to three times as deep as the bulb is tall. The exact depth and spacing for this variety are on the planting card attached to the bag and in the planting guide we send along.
Fully grown, this lily reaches about 60 - 100 cm. Useful to know for the order in your border: low at the front, tall at the back.

Cool, dry and dark, in the opened bag so they can breathe. Do plant them as soon as possible, because bulbs are not a storage product.
