Description
Purple to deep dark with whitish edges, full double flowers. They open like wide bowls in April and May. Scented and very suitable as a cut flower in the vase.
Double Late tulips are also called peony tulips because of their extra full flowers. The large flower indeed opens like a wide bowl, hence the name World Bowl. This cultivar brings that full elegance in purple and white, generous and warm. Excellent cut flower: the layers stay beautiful for a long time. Plant them in groups in borders or pots. Scented and bee-friendly.
