Description
Ivory white with deep yellow-orange heart, and multiple star-shaped flowers per stem. They stand in March and April, low and elegant. Scented, and full of bees as soon as the sun shines.
This is a true wild tulip that naturalizes. Once planted, it spreads on its own. It returns year after year, in ever larger groups. Plant it densely: about a hundred bulbs per square meter. The star-shaped flowers attract bees and butterflies. Perfect for naturalistic gardens and as small bunches. The decorative seed pods stay beautiful in the garden too.
