Description
Deep gold yellow with wildly curled petals that look like feathers. They stand upright in April and May, full of confidence. A parrot tulip that doesn't go unnoticed.
Parrot tulips arose from spontaneous mutations, with those characteristic fringed edges and curls. This cultivar brings that extravagance in a warm, gold yellow. Excellent cut flower: harvest before they fully open. Then they last longer in the vase. Scented and good for pots. Plant them in groups for optimal drama. Bee-friendly and butterfly-friendly. The curled petals are no trick, they grow just like this in your own garden.
