Super Parrot is a parrot tulip – spontaneous mutation, curly, ruffled petals that look like feathers. White-green is unexpected. Height 40 to 55 centimetres, so substantial. Scented. A fine cut flower, especially if you want people to ask what it is. Good for pots. Not naturalizing. Plant fresh each season. Plant it in groups of three to five, so every flower stands out. Combine with plain white or green foliage for calm. This is for those who value whimsy, chaos and oddity.
