Description

A peony double tulip that opens gold, matures to orange, ends orange-red. Burning colour play. April, May.

Sunlover is a double late tulip with a colour shift like fire. It opens gold-yellow and matures through orange to orange-red. So a different colour every day. Height 40 to 50 centimetres, full double so peony-like. Scented. A fine cut flower: those full blooms are made for vases. Good for pots. Not naturalizing. Plant fresh each season. Plant it in groups of five to seven for a full fire effect. Combine with dark foliage or white for contrast. This is for those who love that flowers change as they live.

The Fire Totem. Gold-yellow to orange-red: three colours in one bloom, like the season.

The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.

We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

Good to know

Questions about this tulip.

Plant this tulip in Jan, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec. As long as the ground is not frozen, there is still time.
Rule of thumb: plant a bulb two to three times as deep as the bulb is tall. The exact depth and spacing for this variety are on the planting card attached to the bag and in the planting guide we send along.
Fully grown, this tulip reaches about 40-50 cm. Useful to know for the order in your border: low at the front, tall at the back.
Yes, but not every tulip equally strongly. Botanical tulips and Darwin hybrids come back for years; large-flowered tulips are at their best in the first year.
We offer 100% Bloeigarantie. Send us a message and we will send you new bulbs, or refund you in full.
Cool, dry and dark, in the opened bag so they can breathe. Do plant them as soon as possible, because bulbs are not a storage product.
