Description
A white-purple Triumph tulip with a colour that is not subtle. Contrast that works. April, May.
Spitsbergen is a Triumph tulip in white-purple. White at the bottom, purple at the top. Or the other way round, depending on how you look at it. Contrast that is immediately noticeable. Height 40 to 50 centimetres. Solidly built, scented. A fine cut flower. Good for pots. Plant in groups where you want that boldness. Works well next to red, pink or yellow tulips, but also alone. Short-lived as a perennial, so replant each season.
