Description
A double early tulip in rose-white that carries bubbles of petals. Short, full bloom, warm and tender. March, April.
Silk Road is a double early tulip. That means it blooms early. And it has many, many petals, like a small peony. Rose-white, soft, sweet. Height 30 to 40 centimetres. Scented, which is pleasant. A fine cut flower, especially if you want short, full bouquets. Good for pots. Not naturalizing: plant fresh each season. Double blooms like this love full sun but work in half-shade too.
The Full-Flowered. So many petals you lose count after ten.
