A Lilyflowering tulip with red and yellow that argue in the shade. Pointed petals that curl outward. April, May.
Schiedam belongs to the Lilyflowerings. You recognize it by those pointed, outward-bending petals. They look like a graceful star. Colour: red with yellow, a classic combination that contrasts nicely. Height 45 to 60 centimetres, so a substantial tulip for the garden or as a cut flower. Scented. Good for pots. Pairs well with other Lilyflowerings, also with white or purple flowers. Short-lived as a perennial. Treat it as a seasonal tulip, and you will be satisfied.
