A small, bright red tulip that blooms in March already. The first brightness of spring. Low and undisturbed, perfect at the front of a border.
Scarlet Baby is a Kaufmanniana tulip, also called the Water Lily tulip. In sun the star-shaped bloom opens wide. Then it really does look like a water lily. Low: 15 to 25 centimetres. Plant them in groups at the front, where you see them fully open. Very early: March–April. Scented. This type of tulip does not return of its own. So replant it each year. Very good for pots. Not suitable as a cut flower: too short. Plant them thickly and in numbers – then they shine most.
The Early Herald. March red that says: spring has truly come.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.
