Red Riding Hood is known as Roodkapje in Dutch. It is a Greigii tulip with bright red flowers at just 25 centimetres tall. But what really makes this tulip special is the foliage: strikingly purple-striped and speckled. Decorative to look at even before the flower appears. Compact, sturdy stems. Plant in full sun or half shade, in well-draining soil. Perfect for front borders, rock gardens and pots on terraces. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Fully winter-hardy, low-maintenance.
