Description
A lily-flowering tulip in deep purple. Pointed petals bending softly outward, slender stems. Small yet full of grace. Blooms in April and May.
Purple Heart belongs to the same lily-flowering family as Purple Dream. But it is somewhat more compact and refined in build. Height around 45 centimeters, perfect for front borders and certainly for large pots. The purple color is warm and saturated. Fragrant. Bees and butterflies feel drawn to it. Plant in sun or half shade, in well-draining soil. This group is valued for its elegant forms. Not heavy, not standard, but refined. Low-maintenance. Suitable for planting in mixed borders, also very good as a cut flower.
