Description
Long slender stems with pointed purple flowers and a white heart. These are lily-flowering tulips. They sway gently in the wind, and that is exactly the point.
Purple Dream opens in April-May like a true lily-flower. Slender stem, pointed petals bending outward. And that white heart illuminating the purple from within. The form gives your garden something graceful and moving. Height around 55 centimeters, perfect for mid-size borders and absolutely for cutting. Fragrant. Plant in sun or half shade, in well-draining soil. The lily-flowering group is smaller and more specialized than the large Triumph group. But that always feels like an advantage. Bees and butterflies love it. Low-maintenance.
