Its shell pink double blooms are layers of soft petals, each one slightly different, building into something extraordinary. Its season arrives in April to June, and for a few weeks the garden becomes something genuinely romantic. Indoors or out, this is a tulip that earns its place every year. On still mornings in April to June, its fragrance carries across the garden — an invisible quality that makes this variety something to seek out and remember.
