Description
Purple with glossy surface, dark and elegant. Passio Glossy is a Triumph tulip that blooms in April and May. It grows around fifty centimeters tall. The sturdy stem carries the flower unruffled, weather-proof and strong.
Triumph tulips arose in 1923 from crosses of early and late tulips. It is now the largest and most cultivated group in the world. They're known for their reliability and sturdy character. Plant Passio Glossy in borders and pots, alone or in groups. The purple color is deep but not dark, elegant without being assertive. In water it's lovely too, lasting for weeks.
