Description
This double late tulip blooms in pure white with a golden heart. Touches of yellow here and there. She grows to 50 centimetres and blooms in April and May. A classic that's been in production for well over 70 years.
Mount Tacoma is named after Mount Tacoma in Washington, also known as Mount Rainier. It's a snow-capped peak. The full white blooms with gold do indeed remind you of a snow mountain. She's been in production since well before World War Two, a proven reliable double tulip. She's fragrant. Plant her in large groups for a snowy effect. She's excellent in borders, pots and beds. Especially if you want white as your central colour.
