Description
Purple and white at once, in a single triumph tulip. She grows to 50 centimetres on sturdy stems. She blooms in April and May. The combination of purple and white is unexpected and unusual. It makes her really stand out where she's planted.
Mata Hari was the name of Margaretha Zelle, the Frisian dancer who became world-famous. She worked as a spy in World War One. A bit theatrical, a bit mysterious, just like this tulip. She's a triumph tulip, so sturdy stem, classic flower form, good against bad weather. Plant her in groups for the colour effect, not as scattered edging. She's fragrant and works beautifully as a cut flower too.
