Description
A pure white Darwin hybrid that grows on very long, straight stems. Walk through your garden in April or May and you'll spot her at once. She stands regal above all the other green. The flower is large and elegant, without gimmicks, just white.
Lanka belongs to the Darwin hybrids, a group developed by breeders in 1943. That brings her two great advantages. A strong, long stem that never flops, and an enormous bloom. This white is highly visible even in dusk or under artificial light. Plant her solo as a focal point. Or in a group of white where other colours set her off. She grows to 60 centimetres, so make sure she isn't overshadowed by shorter neighbours.
