Description
Triumph tulip in red and yellow. It is the largest tulip group in the world. Jan Seignette brings red with a broad yellow edge. Red with yellow makes her a striking presence in any border.
Triumph tulips were created around 1923 by crossing early and late tulips. Jan Seignette benefits from that crossing work: early bloom, strong stem, classic shape. Forty to fifty-five centimetres. Very suitable for pots and borders. Plant in groups for volume. Excellent cut flower. April and May. The red and yellow work well with white and yellow flowers. Or plant her alone for full colour effect. Full sun, good drainage. No maintenance needed.
