Naar een orkestleider
Vernoemd naar de Duitse orkestleider James Last, de man van het grote swingende geluid.
Parrot tulip in purple: ruffled, feathered, theatrical. Named after bandleader James Last. Despite that bold name, she stays refined. The ruffled edges catch the light.
Parrot tulips arose as spontaneous mutations. Their ruffled, feathered petals resemble colourful bird feathers. James Last does that in purple: deep purple, with those characteristic ruffles. Forty to fifty centimetres tall. Plant in groups so the pattern is clearly visible. Excellent cut flower. The ruffled edges stay beautiful right into the vase. April and May. They want full sun and well-draining soil. Combine with other purple varieties or contrast with yellow or pink. Bee plants.
The Musician. Improvises, but always stays in rhythm.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

Grote, zijdeachtige bloemen in oudroze en zalmbeige, alsof de blaadjes in elkaar gedraaid zijn.

Wat rustiger van vorm dan de meeste parkiettulpen, op korte en sterke stelen.

Cut a bunch whenever you like. Grown by you, and it shows.
