Description
Deep red. Not orange-red, not purple-red: pure, deep red. A Triumph tulip named after a French region. Ile de France feels like a promise of elegance.
This tulip bears the name of the region around Paris. As a Triumph tulip, she has that characteristic sturdy stem and classic shape. Forty-five to fifty-five centimetres. A clear, deep red that handles full daylight. Plant in groups for volume effect. Excellent cut flower. Red tulips work so well in arrangements. Suitable for pots. April and May. Sun and good drainage. This beautiful red can work completely alone, or combined with pink, white or purple tulips.
