This is a mixed pack around the Ice Cream family. Different colours, the same magical shape. Double late tulips with creamy hearts that really look like soft ice. Together a garden of ice creams.
Ice Cream Garden is for those who love variety but still want visual unity. The peony-flowered shape stays consistent, the colours vary. Forty to fifty centimetres. Plant the different colours together so the contrast shows. They hold well in the vase. April and May. Small pots work, but groups in the border have more impact. They want full sun and good drainage. Double tulips are moisture-sensitive. The secret weapon: no two flowers look exactly the same.
