Description
The original: a creamy-white ball of ice cream. It rises from a collar of pink and yellow-green petals. No two flowers open exactly alike. Double late tulip that when fully open "melts" into a peony-like bloom.
Short and sturdy, twenty to thirty centimetres. Plant them in groups, so the heavy flowers support each other. Honest drawback: double tulips sometimes need shelter from hard wind and heavy rain. That enormous full flower costs the bulb a lot of energy. In a pot, give her at least five litres of soil. Excellent cut flower, especially once the white heart fully develops. Perfect as focal point, not as filler. Short and sturdy so ideal for pots and containers. April and May.

Rule of thumb: plant a bulb two to three times as deep as the bulb is tall. The exact depth and spacing for this variety are on the planting card attached to the bag and in the planting guide we send along.
Fully grown, this tulip reaches about 40-50 cm. Useful to know for the order in your border: low at the front, tall at the back.
