Description
Chameleon tulip: the colour deepens during bloom. The purple stripes on the white petals become increasingly striking. White base, purple tops. A Triumph tulip with strong stems and a secret: she changes before your eyes.
The name Hotpants is a protected trade name. She blooms from April to May. Up to fifty centimetres tall. The sturdy stems handle bad weather well. Plant behind shorter tulips so they don't get shaded. Those long stems and colour contrast make her perfect as a cut flower. She changes pattern every day, so every moment in the vase looks different. A tulip you'll want to give multiple times.
