Description

The waterlily tulips, of which Honky Tonk is a fine example, open flat in the sun to reveal their full warm butter yellow beauty. Smaller than many tulips, they are no less captivating — simply different, and quietly wonderful. Blooming in April to June, earlier than most tulips, it heralds the true start of the garden season. Planted in pots or at the front of a border, it creates an immediate sense of spring that larger, later tulips cannot quite replicate.
