Description
Purple, but not just purple. The petals have a fringed edge that catches the light. Fringed tulips have that unique texture. Wide open flowers on long stems.
Gorilla stays refined, despite her tough name. The deep purple colour with that fringed edge gives subtle glitter. She grows up to fifty-five centimetres tall. Plant her with other dark purple or pink tulips. The tone-on-tone effect works well. They do better in groups than alone. Excellent cut flower too. Place them in full sun with well-draining soil. They bloom in April and May. Bees and butterflies love them.
