Description
In April, they stand upright: red flowers with yellow edges, classic and tidy. Triumph tulips have a neat flower shape and steel stems that handle anything. Forty-five to fifty-five centimetres, perfect for the middle of your border.
Triumph tulips were created in 1923 by crossing early and late tulips: the perfect compromise. Gavota shows that masterpiece: warm red with a bright yellow edge. Built like architecture, and strong. They handle bad weather well and are a professional gardener's favourite. Plant them in groups: they look even better together. Excellent cut flower and very suitable for pots too. Place them in a sunny spot with reasonable drainage. Butterflies and bees love them.
