Description
In March, April, and May, Fosteriana tulips bloom early in mixed colors, 35 to 45 centimeters tall. This is one of two groups most likely to return in your garden. Also called Emperor tulips.
Fosteriana tulips are among the better naturalizers. They bloom early and have large flowers on sturdy stems. This mix brings those sturdy emperor blooms in multiple colors together. Plant in full sun. That strong descent from wild Tulipa fosteriana gives this group power. Not scented, but visually strong. The mix may vary in composition each year, that makes every group unique. Beautiful planted en masse.
