Description
In April and May, Flaming Parrot dances as a large parrot tulip. Yellow with red flame pattern, fringed "wings", 45 to 55 centimeters tall. Not scented but visual spectacle.
Flaming Parrot combines the curled, fringed petals of parrot tulips. Added to that is the characteristic red flame on yellow. Parrot tulips owe their name to those feather-plumage-like blooms. Flaming Parrot is large and holds for weeks, in garden and vase alike. Combine her with solid bloomers or evergreen. That way the busy flower gets the show. Not scented, which demands more attention for the visual spectacle.
