Description
In April and May, Fancy Frills shows off her pink petals. The edges are finely scalloped, like lace. She grows 45 to 55 centimeters tall on sturdy stems. These are fringed tulips in their most beautiful color.
Fancy Frills combines the elegant silhouette of lilies with a crystalline edge. That edge comes from the fringed group. The name says it all. That pink tone makes her softer than warm red-orange varieties. Plant in full sun or half shade. Beautiful in groups so that fringed edge really stands out. Strong as a cut flower too: long-lasting. That fine scalloping is not only decorative. It also prevents water from sitting in the flower.
