Description
In April and May, Exotic Sun shows what double-fringed tulips can do. Sunny yellow with a finely scalloped edge, full and peony-like. She grows 40 to 50 centimeters tall on strong stems. This is two beautiful groups at once, double and fringed.
Exotic Sun combines the best of two worlds. It has the extra petals of a double tulip. Added to that is the finely fringed, crystalline edge of the fringed group. That delivers a full, sunny yellow flower with a lace-like edge. Plant in full sun or half shade. That distinct edge makes her immediately recognizable, no standard tulip. Very long-lasting in garden and vase alike. Beautiful in groups to really see the interplay of yellow and fringed edge.
