Description
In April and May, Dream Touch blooms like a velvet-soft dream. Deep purple with a thin white edge, peony-like. She grows 40 to 50 centimeters tall. This is a double late tulip answering growing demand for filled flowers.
Double tulips are the fastest-growing breeding segment. Dutch breeders focus on new filled cultivars. They are popular on the cut-flower market and in the garden. Dream Touch is one such new addition: many petals and that characteristic white base. Not scented, but visually striking in borders and pots. Also a popular cut flower. Plant in full sun or half shade. Those layered petals open and close with temperature, keeping them always surprising.
