Description
In April and May, Double Shake trembles open into a full, peony-like flower. She is white with strong pink to raspberry flames and a hint of green. She grows 40 to 50 centimetres tall and lasts long. A very new Dutch cultivar.
Double Shake is new. She was bred only recently in the Netherlands, from the cross 'Shiun' × 'Evita'. She arrives in gardens for the first time. The flower shape changes as she ages: first magnolia-like, later peony-like. She is strongly scented. Florists seek out just this warm, fine fragrance. The long bloom time gives you weeks of pleasure.
