Description
In April and May, Double Late Mixed blooms as the finale of the tulip season. The flowers are full and peony-like, in a range of warm colors. They grow 40 to 50 centimeters tall and are built for pure luxury.
Double late tulips are also called peony tulips. You see why immediately: those layered blooms look like rose hips. The mix brings together pink, yellow, orange, red, and white in the same full form. Plant in full sun or half shade, in border or large pot. Those full flowers hold for weeks. Beautiful planted en masse so the luxury stands out. Also popular in bouquets: florists love these dense, impenetrable blooms. The color mix varies by year.
