Description
Toward the end of April, the giant flowers of Darwin hybrids bloom in your garden. They stand in a colorful mix. They grow 50 to 60 centimeters tall on unbreakable stems. These are the strongest tulips of all.
Darwin hybrids emerged in 1943 from a cross with Tulipa fosteriana. That yields flowers up to 15 centimeters across. They withstand wind and rain better than other tulips. Plant in full sun or half shade, alone or in groups. The mix brings together red, yellow, white, pink, and orange. Excellent as a cut flower too: weeks of life. This group returns longer than any tulip.
