Description
Color mix: pink, yellow, orange, white, each with dark heart on thin, waving stems. June, July, summer. South African; feels warmer than it is. This is the exotic for those without exotic climate.
Corn lily; not hardy. Plant in May after frost has passed; dig up in October before frost. Full sun is essential (flowers close in shade); well-draining; warm and dry. Nectar-rich; attracts bees and butterflies; low maintenance. Cut flower. Also suitable for pot on the terrace. It comes from warm, dry South Africa. You feel that in everything it does.
