Description
Dark purple flamed buds, inside soft light blue. Spring Beauty is like a Rembrandt in your garden. Light against dark, a color combination no other has.
This is a botanical crocus (Crocus sieberi selection) with a very exuberant bloom. The dark purple flamed buds have outermost petals with white base. When opened the inside shows a soft light blue glow. Its flowers are smaller than those of many botanical crocuses. The abundant bloom makes up for it. Suitable for borders, lawn, pots, rock gardens. The flowers open and close in warmth. Leave the leaf alone after flowering. Fragrant. Strong in generous groups.
