Size and height
Grows to about 8 - 10 cm tall. A small, delicate snow crocus that opens very early in the year and naturalises strongly in the lawn.
Snow-white calyx with yellow throat: that is Ard Schenk. Its flowers are small but numerous, and they emerge early in March. A classic crocus for those who want to see it run wild in the lawn.
This is a botanical crocus, and they naturalize like no other. Ard Schenk is named after the Dutch speed skater. It is a Dutch cultivar. White flowers with orange-yellow stamens, fragrant. Suitable for borders, lawn, pots and under shrubs. Leave the leaf alone after flowering, or the new bulblets are lost. The flowers open in the sun, close in dull weather. The pollen fed the first bees back in the Middle Ages.
The Stayer. It establishes itself more strongly every year.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.
