Description
April to May: white with red flames and streaks. No two flowers are alike. Carnaval de Rio is like a hand-painted canvas: each bloom different, each stroke unique. Height: forty to fifty centimetres.
This is a Triumph tulip with a special feature. The leaves carry a narrow white edge along all sides. Decorative from emergence onward, before you even see flowers. Plant them where you want to appreciate that individual artistry. Not hidden in broad drifts. Rather in small clusters, or as an accent along a bed. They love full sun. They smell pleasant. Perfect cut flower. Each stem is a mini fresco. Combine with red or white late-blooming tulips for harmony. They do not naturalize, so you enjoy this unique craftsmanship each year.
