Zoete geur, geen uienlucht
De witte schermen geuren zoet; pas als je een blad kneust ruik je ui.
Loose white clusters with round petals. This is one of the sweetest-scented alliums in existence. Surprising for an onion. April to May, stems around 40 centimetres.
The botanical name refers to Naples and the Mediterranean, where this allium grows wild. Also known as 'Bride's Garlic', though the name is misleading. That scent is really its strength: sweet, delicate, not onion-like. Tough species that tolerates drought and poor soil, forms dense colonies and spreads readily. Long-lasting cut flower. Combination tip: plant alongside purple Dutch irises. Timing and colours work perfectly together.
The Fragrant One. White, sweetly scented, unexpectedly fine.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.
