Size and height
Grows to about 20 - 35 cm tall. Soft lilac pink, open and airy little umbels on short stems.
Low-growing, rose to lilac flowers, and no fuss with digging and lifting. This is an allium for those who want the bulbs to simply stay in place. Sunny spot, well-draining soil, done.
Eros is a hybrid of Allium unifolium, a mountain species from Central Asia. You feel that heritage: compact, between 20 and 35 centimetres tall. Round, closed flower heads in lilac-rose, perfect small spheres for fine work. The advantage: you don't need to lift the bulbs every year. Sunny, well-draining, and they get on with it. Suitable for pots on terrace or balcony, and they naturalise reasonably too.
The Compact One. A rosy globe that looks after itself.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.

Unlike most alliums, Eros actually does well on heavier, moist soil.

The flowers give a light, pleasant scent, rare for an allium.

Plant in autumn and enjoy a sea of colour in spring.

With the right bulbs you give bees and butterflies their first food.

Cut a bunch whenever you like. Grown by you, and it shows.

That tricky spot under the tree? There are bulbs for that.

Give flowers that come back every year, not a bunch that wilts.
