Echt blauw is zeldzaam
Zuiver azuurblauw komt tussen voorjaarsbollen weinig voor; deze sierui heeft die kleur wel.
Among all the purple alliums, suddenly something unexpected appears: a true sky blue. The globes are small, but that colour carries. June to August, right in the moment when blue is scarce.
Allium caeruleum is one of the few truly blue flowering bulbs in cultivation. The Latin name "azureum" gives it away: clear blue. Small, densely-packed globes on tall stems, 40 to 60 centimetres, crisp and refined. Despite its delicate look, it's tough: tolerates poor soil, drought, and neglect. Fragrant, loved by bees and butterflies, and the foliage dies back neatly after flowering. Perfect for naturalising.
The Rare Blue. Sky blue in a world of purple.
The bulbs come from the Dutch bulb fields. Hand selected for quality and size, and delivered at the right planting time. A larger bulb holds more food, and you see that in the flower: more blooms, and fuller.
We offer our 100% Bloeigarantie. If nothing comes up, send us a message. You will get new bulbs, or your money back.
