Description
April to May: double fringed tulips in a mix. Red-yellow, pink-white, orange. Different colours, all with those fine dentate edges. Crispa Double Mixed stands on stems forty to fifty centimetres tall.
This is a Fringed Double tulip, so both traits: full fill AND finely fringed edges. Plant the mix in groups of seven to ten. Then you see all colours, and the fringe sets off against itself. They are good cut flowers, that fringe makes any arrangement more interesting. They love full sun. They do not naturalise. So each year the same surprise of different colours and fringing at once.
