Description
April to May: the most rose-like of all tulips. Softly ruffled double flowers in primrose yellow that blends into cream white. A rosy-pink blush sits over it. Creme Upstar feels more like a rose than a tulip.
This is a Double Late tulip, popular and beloved for years. They stand on stems forty to fifty centimetres. They are softly scented. Plant them in groups of seven to ten where you see that rosette form well. Front-of-border, in large pots, or against a wall. They suit cottage gardens and also modern design. This is a gorgeous bouquet flower; the cream-yellow-pink palette works with almost everything. They love full sun. They do not naturalize, so you are free in your annual garden story.
