Description
April to May: award-winning variety (RHS Award of Garden Merit). The flower is pale pink with green viridiflora feathering, deepening to richer blush-pink. The special part: broad silver-white edge along blue-green leaves. Decorative from emergence onward.
China Town is a viridiflora, a group where green and bloom dance together. They stand on compact stems forty-five to fifty-five centimetres. The variegated leaf remains visible and is part of the show. Long blooming. Plant them where you can see both: front of border, or pot edge. Not hidden behind taller plants. They love full sun. They smell pleasant. A fine cut flower, that green feathering gives every vase something unique. Pairs beautifully with white such as the daffodil Mount Hood. They do not naturalize.
